Small Quick Tips To Save Big Slow Money

I'm here to get right to the chase and remind you of what you already know as well as bring new opportunities to light.

But before I do, let me explain. These tips are about making big but slow money. No get rich quick solutions here. These are small, easy, and doable. But don't get lazy about it. Following these won't make you a millionaire but it will save you money each and every day (hence the slow) without thinking. Money saved is money earned.

1. Call up your bank and negotiate

Ask about maintenance fees, monthly fees, check cashing fees, minimum balance fees and other fees to be waived. Threaten to switch banks and explain difficult circumstances.


2. Use a bicycle
3. Carpool
4. Public transportation
5. Put all device chargers on one power strip
6. Close the doors of unused rooms
7. Check the bulletin board at a post office for openings, events, etc.
8. Use the library for books, DVDs, news, etc.
9. Have a yard sale
10. Read the news online
11. Use shopping lists
12. Buy cloths that match well
13. Buy off season and during tax holidays
14. Get cooking
15. Start a garden
16. Be fit and work out regularly
17. Ditch bottled water
18. Buy used
19. Use LED bulbs
20. Install low flow shower heads
21. Turn the unused lights off
22. Be gas efficient: go at speed limits, drift to a red dont accelerate like in a race
23. Use up your leftovers
24. Buy from thrift shops and second hand stores
25. Wash your hands -> health
